Dynamite Hill is open year-round to our community and visitors. It also has one of the best sledding hills in the North Country, as well as a great hill to learn how to ski. The hill is always open for sledding & tubing. The ice skating rink is also open during weekdays and weekends unless it is closed due to maintenance. The warming hut will be open on the weekends for the purchase of snacks/drinks and bathroom use only. There is a 10 person capacity for the building. There will be no socializing inside the building. The ski tow rope is weather permitting. As long as there is enough snow (at least a foot) it will run on the weekends for the skiers & snowboarders. Once the weather dips below 32 degrees, the Town of Chester has the ability to make snow.
